Summer Youth Internship Program 2025

SYIP 2025 in Collaboration with MDCPS
Dates: July 1 - August 2, 2025

Miami-Dade County Public Schools, connects students with internship opportunities to gain real-world experience. For the Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) 2025, the internship period runs from July 1 to August 2, 2025.

For Internship Providers

We are now OPEN for Internship Providers for the 2025 SYIP season.
Providers Orientation Sessions will be held: May 6 & 13, 2025 at 9:00 AM virtual.
Provider's Instructions On How To Register Your Company, Post Jobs, and Hire Interns.

For Students

Eligibility: Students must be approved before registering; contact your school's teacher champion for details.

Returning Users: Use your existing account from previous years.

Login Instructions: Sign in via the CLEVER login or through the student portal.

April 15, 2025 - 6:00 PM in Spanish and Haitian Creole

Students who are prepared for internships are enrolled in M-DCPS academy programs of Agriscience, Arts & Entertainment, Education, Engineering, Finance, Health Sciences, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Law Studies, Trade & Logistics, as well as other CTE programs.

Already Insured

Internship Image

Interns come covered by accident insurance; therefore, there is no employer liability.

Employers Registration

Internship Image

Students receive academic credit; compensation can be via SYIP Grant or Company Payroll.
